Q. How do I know where to set up?
A. All vendors receive a Setup Info email in the end of May. The email will contain registration, setup, and parking information.

Q. Are there rules about setting up my space?
A. We want you to have fun and get creative, but there are a few rules to keep vendors and fair goers safe. Click here to learn more about vendor spaces.

Q. Do I have to bring my own table?

A. Yes. The Fair does not provide any furnishing or coverings. June can be a hot month in Bayonne, especially on the blacktop; we recommend bringing a tent and chairs.

Q. Is there anything special that food vendors need?
A. Yes. The BHTF Association will forward your information to the Bayonne Board of Health, and for any food vendors that will be cooking onsite, Fire Prevention. If you are not already on file with the Board of Health, they will forward the required paperwork to vend food for public consumption. A representative from the Board of Health and from Fire Prevention will inspect each food vendor prior to the Fair opening on Saturday morning. Please plan your setup to allow yourself the time you will need.

Fire extinguishers must be up to date. Additionally, if you plan to cook under the shade of a tent, it must have an NFPA-701 tag attached, or you must be able to provide the appropriate paperwork to certify that it has been rendered fire retardant to the NFPA-701 standard.

Q. What happens Saturday night?
A. Bayonne is a safe place to be thanks to the vigilance and dedication of the Bayonne PD, however neither the City of Bayonne, the Police Department, or the Bayonne Hometown Fair Assoc. are responsible for any items left on the street. If a tent is left over night the weights MUST remain on all legs and the tent should be lowered in case of increased wind.

Q. Is there a stage with entertainment?
A. There are TWO stages with free, live entertainment. The Main Stage features professional musicians and the Community Stage features local, child focused entertainment.

Q. Is there alcohol at the Fair?
A. There is a Beer Garden located beside our Main Stage. Alcohol can only be purchased there, and it must be consumed within the boundaries of the Beer Garden. Anyone outside of the Beer Garden boundaries consuming alcohol will be subject to the regular laws, enforced by our fine BPD officers.

Q. What do you do with the money you raise?

A. We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers who receive $0 compensation for their time. All of the money that we take in from vendor fees, sponsorships, and fundraising go right back into the Fair to cover expenses; learn more here

Q. What if my question isn't on here?
